While being part of a band may have come as a surprise to someone who doesn’t play a traditional instrument, being an integral part of UNA seems natural for an artistic soul so dedicated to the art of DJ-ing and music, and so passionate about getting things right.
As UNA’s turntablist, Eddie adds in the aural layers that help make UNA’s sound fresh and elusive. Halo Varga’s body of work is a prime example of consistency and longevity in dance music today. His introduction to House and Techno music began in Chicago in the mid 90’s working at Hip House record store and experiencing loft parties with legends such as Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter and Ron Hardy.
As one of Fabric London’s first resident DJs and a veteran globe trotter, Halo has
provided sonic experiences to dance floors with surgical precision. These
experiences as well as his attention to detail as a music selector, have cemented
Halo as one of the most influential and respected artists in the underground
music scene.
Halo has proven his relevancy as an artist through an extensive list of
professional accomplishments that include west coast duo H-Foundation
acclaimed productions, remixes and collaborations on All In Records, Desolat,
Inmotion Music, Siesta Records, Yoshitoshi, NRK, Soma and Fabric. Today he
continues to forge ahead and hone his craft with a never-ending desire to make
and play forward thinking music characterized by his organic signature sound
infused with his Chicago sonic grassroots.
Most recently, Halo became co-owner of Artifact Record Shop in San Diego and
formed Muted Noise recordings, an original imprint with releases by Proudly
People, Nima Gorji, Nu Zau, lisière collectif and many more. Fans of the historic
Siesta Records should keep a look out for more great music from Halo Varga
with NG Trax, FA>IE Records, and his digital label, Vuew, that will also feature
selected vinyl releases coming out this year.

Hailing from the Kansas City area, Ethan Bliss has had a strong interest in both music and technology. Raised in a musical family, he took piano lessons, played in the school band, and studied music theory as well, but it wasn’t until entering college that he truly discovered electronic dance music and the art of the DJ. Since then he has been developing his ear for what gives a track both groove and musical interest and developing his mixing skills to keep the beat going. Ethan Bliss spins a range of jackin’ and tech house to keep the vibe interesting and the dancefloor moving. In addition to having hosted a weekly radio show on the Wildcat 91.9FM in Manhattan, Kansas, and played at venues around the midwest. In the years since he has taken a break from the DJ circuit to hone his craft in the studio, developing more and more soulful and booty-shaking sounds as time has gone on, with early releases on Reason2Funk, Craniality Sound, and Spins & Needles and more to follow!
